Terms of service

Updated September 23, 2026. This is a draft outline, not a final agreement. It describes current product behavior and needs legal review.

Account creation

Use a valid email address and keep your sign-in details secure. Each customer or business account belongs to one verified email. You are responsible for information submitted from your account. Account export and closure controls are available in account settings.

Business applications and subscriptions

Standard business applications have a $50 one-time review fee where live checkout is enabled. Payment does not guarantee approval. Approved businesses may choose Basic for $25 per month or Pro for $100 total per month. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in billing management. Cancellation stops renewal and access continues through the paid period. Test mode and demo features do not charge real money. Membership does not change search ranking or matching priority.

Founding Business program

One spot is available per primary service category and canonical city area, including its ZIP codes and postal aliases. Your additional service cities do not claim more spots. The first successful reservation claims the combination. A spot is reserved for seven days while you complete independent ownership, identity and rating review. Approved businesses keep their spot; expired or declined reservations return to availability. One real customer’s first inquiry to your business counts as one qualified lead when its service and city match your profile. Follow-ups and job requests in that conversation never count again. The first three leads remain accessible. Later new leads wait privately until a verified live Basic or Pro subscription is active. Basic is $25/month or Pro is $100/month, locked while continuously subscribed. Cancel through Billing; cancellation ends future paid access at the subscription end, and existing conversations stay open. The badge, checklist and referrals never change ranking.

Eligible founding applications have a $0 application fee, with no card required to reserve a spot. The first three qualified leads are free. After that, Basic is $25 per month or Pro is $100 total per month, with the price locked while continuously subscribed. Founding membership provides a badge and pricing benefit only. It does not affect ranking or matching. Reservations and eligibility depend on the program rules shown on the application.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully. Do not harass, impersonate, mislead, disrupt the service or send unlawful content. A request is not an appointment or payment. Customers and businesses confirm work scope, price, timing, cancellation terms and any contract directly with one another.

Listings, reviews and demo content

Directory listings are not endorsements, guarantees or proof of availability. Confirm coverage, qualifications, pricing and terms directly with the business. Search ratings are shown separately from PerfectCompany completed-job reviews. Fictional company profiles, demo reviews and simulated approval states are not real businesses, verified evidence or program eligibility.
