Privacy policy

Information collected

PerfectCompany stores account email and profile details, business application information, service and city searches, saved businesses, job requests, messages, quotes, appointment proposals, read timestamps and job events. Home details and care plans stay private to your account unless you choose to share them. Unsent message drafts stay in this browser session.

How information is used

Account and business details support sign-in, service discovery, messaging, application review, billing, safety reports and account management. Search sends the selected service and city to Google when you request Google results. Private briefs, account email and applications are not sent with that search. PerfectCompany does not cache the Google directory results. Operational records may include daily search totals and service error counts.

Location permission

Browser location is requested only after you tap “Use my location.” If you allow it, the app converts your coordinates on your device to a nearby city or ZIP suggestion and discards the coordinates. You can edit the suggestion. Location is used only to find businesses near you. Search works when permission is denied, unavailable or times out. PerfectCompany does not store your exact coordinates.

Messages and public profiles

Messages and project details are visible to their conversation participants. Sending a message shares your account name and email with the receiving business. A verified completed-job review can appear on a business profile without your account name or address. Approved business profiles may show the business name, service area, specialties, hours, contact preferences, uploaded photos and aggregate in-app activity.

Service providers

Google Places and Maps provide optional search results and business details. Stripe hosts payment checkout and handles payment information; PerfectCompany stores payment references and subscription status, not card numbers. Supabase may provide authentication and database services where configured. Email providers deliver sign-in and account messages. Twilio may deliver opted-in SMS alerts where configured. The hosting provider may retain technical request logs. Provider features remain unavailable when required credentials are missing.

Cookies and browser storage

PerfectCompany does not currently use advertising pixels or third-party analytics. Optional first-party activity counts are sent only after you choose Accept in the consent banner. Declining does not disable product features.

Essential cookies: the HttpOnly session cookie named pc-session supports sign-in. The HttpOnly recovery cookie named pc-recovery temporarily supports password recovery. Supabase may set sb-*-auth-token cookies when that provider is configured.
Essential local storage: perfectcompany:guest-workspace:v1 keeps a guest demo workspace; perfectcompany:provider-application-demo:v1 keeps the local business preview; perfectcompany:onboarding:* remembers completed onboarding; perfectcompany:recent-searches remembers selected searches; perfectcompany:theme remembers display preference; and perfectcompany:cookie-consent:v1 remembers your choice.
Essential session storage: perfectcompany:inbox-draft:* temporarily saves an unsent message; perfectcompany:message-intent:v1 carries a selected business into the inbox.
Optional analytics: after Accept, first-party telemetry records limited event names and daily totals. It does not include message content, page text or exact coordinates. No third-party tracking tool is loaded.

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Clearing browser storage also clears the saved choice and local drafts.

Retention, export and deletion

Account settings provide data export and deletion controls. Account closure removes private records, redacts identity from shared conversation records and leaves other participants’ records intact. Billing records may be retained for accounting and may also remain with Stripe. To request data deletion or account closure, sign in and use the account controls. A support email is not configured.
