The existing public service at theperfectcompany.app is a separate Cloudflare service. This policy does not establish the current data collection of that separate service or change its policy. The new PerfectCompany web application described here is hosted on Vercel. Account, messaging, upload and payment features remain restricted for general public use while their required verification and configuration are pending. Device-local previews and preferences can still be used. Descriptions of account and marketplace records below explain handling when those features are enabled; they do not mean that a public account, messaging, upload or payment integration is currently active.
Account records can include email, display name, sign-in and security records. Marketplace records can include service and city choices, saved providers, business and freelancer applications, uploaded work photos and private verification files, job requests, messages, quotes, appointments, read timestamps, reports and reviews. Home details and care plans stay private to your account unless you choose to share them. Unsent inbox drafts stay in browser session storage.
We use these records for sign-in, discovery, conversations, application and identity review, billing eligibility, safety, account requests and limited operations counts. Conversation participants can see the messages and project details sent to them. Sending an eligible inquiry shares your account name and email with the receiving provider. Approved provider profiles can show service details, areas, hours, work photos and aggregate activity. Private references and license files are restricted to the applicant and authorized reviewers. We do not use payment or founding status to boost matching.
The browser asks for location only after you choose Use my location. It uses precise coordinates on your device to suggest a city or ZIP. The app retains your selected city or ZIP, not those device coordinates; you can edit the suggestion. Search works without location permission. When you request Google results, the selected service and area are sent for that search, and a radius search can include bounds based on an estimated city center. Your private brief, account email and application are not included in that search. Google directory results are not saved as a PerfectCompany listing cache.
Vercel hosts the current public web application and receives technical request information needed to serve it. The native application is designed to use PostgreSQL for application records and private Vercel Blob storage for enabled uploads. The separate Sites runtime is designed to use Cloudflare Workers, D1 and private R2 storage. Hosting and storage support in the source is not proof that a restricted account or upload feature is active. Conditional integrations include Supabase sign-in, SendGrid account email, native Gmail account email in a restricted private Preview, Twilio for opted-in SMS, Stripe hosted checkout and billing, Google Places for requested directory results, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot checks, and OpenFreeMap for optional map tiles. A browser map request is sent to the tile provider. These integrations operate only when configured and authorized. When checkout is enabled, Stripe receives payment details; the app stores payment references and subscription state, not card numbers.
The current app does not load advertising pixels or third-party analytics. Choosing Accept in the cookie banner permits optional first-party usage counts when that feature is available. The current public deployment restricts the server API for those counts. Declining leaves essential product features available. We do not currently sell personal data.
pc-session supports sign-in, pc-recovery supports temporary recovery, and pc-consent-source identifies a recent Google sign-in during policy acceptance. Supabase may set sb-*-auth-token cookies when configured.perfectcompany:guest-workspace:v1, perfectcompany:provider-application-demo:v1, perfectcompany:onboarding:*, perfectcompany:recent-searches and perfectcompany:compare:v1 retain device-local previews and choices. perfectcompany:language, perfectcompany:theme, perfectcompany:visits and perfectcompany:install-dismissed remember display preferences. perfectcompany:cookie-consent:v1 stores your choice.perfectcompany:inbox-draft:* and perfectcompany:message-intent:v1 hold an unsent draft or selected provider during a browser session.Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. Clearing browser storage also clears device-local drafts and preferences. The service worker does not cache private account, job, message or payment pages.
No method of online transmission or storage is completely secure. For enabled account features, the app applies authorization checks and secure-session cookie settings. The public site supplies browser security headers. These safeguards do not guarantee that information will never be accessed, lost or disclosed without authorization. We provide notifications required by applicable privacy, data-security and breach-notification law. This policy does not waive your legal privacy or security rights.
Account settings can download some home and job records or submit a request for a fuller export or deletion. A request is stored for manual review and is not itself a completed export or deletion. Policy acceptance records include the account ID, accepted versions, source and server time. The separate closure control removes private application records and acceptance records, and redacts identity in shared conversations while preserving other participants’ records. Some billing records, security logs, backups and provider records may remain where needed for accounting, disputes or legal obligations. A complete retention schedule and provider deletion process are not published.
Use Account and data settings to download available records, request a fuller export or request deletion after sign-in. These requests enter manual review. The service is intended for adults 18 and older and is not designed for children. Changes to this policy will be dated here. When the policy versions change, signed-in users must accept the new versions before using account features again. Account data controls and sign out remain available.
